    About Streetcar Developments

The journey of Streetcar Developments began in 2002, propelled by the vision of Les Mallins. Mallins, an accountant by training, transitioned to life as a condo developer and founded Streetcar Developments. His creations are not outwardly grandiose or ostentatious but have managed to make a significant and positive mark on the surrounding neighbourhoods. While it might seem like a small-scale developer, Streetcar Developments is responsible for bringing about some significant changes in Toronto’s urban landscape. Promoting the ethos of ‘Rethinking Urban Living’, Mallins and his company strive to create communities tailored to cater to urban dwellers and modern families, especially those drawn towards Toronto’s vibrant east end.

    Signature Architecture

Streetcar Developments’ projects are known for their modern architecture, high-quality finish, and aesthetically pleasing designs. The residences typically feature amenities such as hardwood flooring, stone countertops, custom kitchens, and Energy Star-rated stainless steel appliances. The interiors boast high ceilings (around nine to ten feet), and some units even offer bedrooms with sliding frosted glass panel doors. An eco-conscious approach can be seen in the green roofs that adorn all its buildings.

    Community-Centric Philosophy

The developer’s prowess lies in crafting mixed-use communities that provide future residents with everything they need within a stone’s throw. Transforming underused neighbourhoods’ streetscape, Mallins’ vision propels them back to life, thereby making these developments an attractive proposition for many potential residents.
